I am 33 , female, married with kids. I began pulling my eyelashes I think when I was about 16. My mother was killed around the same time. I think this may have triggered the Ocd. who knows? I did know that she used to glue onher lashes. I then heard my gma tell me that I should stop, my mother did that and had no lashes left! I want to stop sooo bad, and have no ways to try.. I look online and find crap about this bookor that book..order this solution "bla bla ".. but I really just want other suggestions from someone who understands the how hard it is!> any suggestions? what have you tried??

I've been going through the same thing-- it's so hard to stop pulling. I was watching a program on TV and they suggested tapping the side of your head or the side of your wrist with two fingers when you feel the need to pull, because it simulates the same removal of tension the way pulling your eye lashes does. I have tried it, and it did relieve some stress. I've tried a couple things like that, like just finding another outlet-- sometimes I draw or doodle or just busy my hands when I feel the need.
I think that Niki, who posted above me, has a good idea except that pulling mascara off your eyelashes doesn't really help. Not only can you pull the eyelash out with the mascara at the same time, it also does not reverse or fix the problem itself. You are still picking at your eyes. I suggest redirecting the need to another place and then getting rid of it altogether. Pulling something else is essentially still pulling and not helping the problem.. I used to do the same thing!

Hi umm I'm not sure if this will work but i put mascara on my eye lashes and pull that off instead .
