Will it ever come back?

I am a male and whenever I grow out my hair on my head I start to pull. I have been pulling my hair on my head and my hands for 5 years now. I have 3 bald spots out of 5 total. 2 of my bald spots you can hardly notice, but it did grow back a little differently. At least I have almost 80 percent of my hair back in those two spots! But the other 3 are much smaller and newer, they also seem to be taking forever to grow back. Will my bald spots ever grow back to where it is unnoticeable? The last two did very well and they were much bigger than the ones I have now. I would like to have a normal haircut instead of a buzz that I usually give myself. My family has been terrible about it and has done nothing to help me, in fact they brought me down even further. I was wondering if my bald spots will come back to recover at least most of my hair? Do they grow back? Please someone tell me who has experience if they will come back or do I just have false hope? I dont pull on my hair that much anymore, instead I pull the hair on my hands and feet which I dont mind too much. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

I'm sorry to hear that your

I'm sorry to hear that your family hasn't helped at all. I found that while my mother tried to help, her hassling only made it worse. I suggest finding someone to talk to, a professional. I found a good therapist who I get along with really well and it's like talking to a friend, only she gives me great advice, or, sometimes, just listens, and helps me figure things out for myself. It's like having an inner voice to bounce ideas off of except that inner voice doesn't circle around and drive you crazy or distract you from your ever day life!!

The hair will definitely grow back. Give it time and try to find an outlet for yourself. I also suggest not encouraging the Trich on any other parts of your body if you want to get rid of it completely, but if the pulling on your hands and feet help make the first steps easier, you're on your way. Just make sure it is driving you forward and not causing a relapse.

I hope this helped. Good luck!
