4 Months Pull-Free

Just checking in...it's been 4 months since I stopped pulling out my hair...new growth is coming in every day..
actually the top (crown) of my head, and the immediate front WAS completely bald for years....those spots are what i would call the hot spots...hairs were thicker and coarser there, so i knew exactly where to pull from...it's taking it's time to grow back but, at least it's coming in..considering that it was bald 4 months ago...
i'm happy with my progress, because i thought my hair would never grow back, because it was bald for so long (was pulling for 13 years) I still get the urge to pull, but my will-power to STOP pulling is still greater than my urge to pull

Hi Katy,

This is amazing news. I am so happy for you. It feels great to be in control of this terrible disorder.

I continue to spread the word that people can stop, it isn't easy but it is obtainable.

I still love my new hair. I can't believe I began making changes in 2007 to my thoughts and now it is 2010.
I love my hair and my new outlook.
