Scared and glad to find this
Hi Everyone,
I'm an eyebrow girl. I looked up eyebrow pulling and stumbled on this site. Been doing it off and on since I was a kid. I'm terrified that this has a name, and glad to read the postings of others. I feel not so crazy and totally nuts at the same time. I'm smart and confident and I can't really understand where this crazy habit fits into the rest of my personality. It's so bizarre.
I bleached my brows yesterday (I'm blonde) so the damage wouldn't be so freakin' obvious, but I really need to get this under control.
TV is the worst! Here's something strange; I find myself messing with my eyebrows as I'm falling asleep. It's soothing in some childish way, and it actually helps me go to sleep. So bizarre.
I always have a haircut that has long bangs: great camoflage for the damage.
Look forward to hearing from any and all of you.
By the way, those of you who go after scalp hair: you have my total empathy. It sucks dealing with the eyebrows. I can only imagine how painful it is to deal with the scalp.
Best to all.

I AM THE FIRST TO COMMENT!!!!
I AM THE FIRST TO COMMENT!!!! ha ha ha!! anyways i feel for you hon. I am a scalp puller, but i am proud to say this is my 8th pull-free day!!!! my hair is starting to grow back BEAUTIFULLY. not only do i pull my head hair, but also my brows AND lashes. they are growing back as well. Just put vaseline on your brows when u go to bed. the slipperiness will keep you from pulling. AND DON'T USE TWEEZERS!!!!
