this is scary..
I am 16 years old and about a year and a half ago i started pulling out my eyelashes and my family laughed at me. Yhey kept saying why do you do that, stop, you look funny. I never really knew why i was doing it and still dont. I really cant stop, people think its silly and im just wanting attintion. I've started to notice that i pull out my eyebrow hair and the hair on my scalp too. I've tried to hid not having eyelashes with eyeliner but one of my boyfriends noticed that i didnt have eyelashes so i guess it doesnt really work. This is all kinda new to me realizing that there is actually a name for this and that there are a lot of people with this problem.
I guess what im getting at is i need someone to talk to that has the same problem as me because other people dont understand.

i know exactly how you
i know exactly how you feel.
i am also 16.. and a few years ago i started pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrows..
when i mom asked me about why i didnt hav eyelashes i showed her a site explaining trich that i had recently discovered.. she said i was trying to get attention.. and making her life even harder. she pretty much just made me feel like shit.
i am better at controlling my trich now. my eyebrows are completely grown back (there was a point when i had none)
i am still up and down with my eyelashes tho
and yea i like wont leave my room without eyeliner.. cause i jus feel like my eyes look bald without it
i have had a few ppl say stuff about it.. but i hav nvr told anyone the reason.
i dated a guy for a year.. like we were sooo comfortable w/ eachother.. but wen he asked about it i couldnt bring myself to tell him.
and same wit my best friend..
my usuall respons is just like "oh they hav always been like that, idk why"
but anyways i know what ur goin thro girl and it suckss.
im here if ya need someone to talk to :)
I found that talking to
I found that talking to somebody (who will not judge you for pulling) is one of the best things. Talking about it is a great away to release tension that can build up. Additionally, if you talk about it you might find out why you are pulling.
